While actual content should always come before creating web designs, sometimes placeholder copy is still necessary. Occasionally it can be really fun. Traditionally, Latin excerpts have filled this void, but click through the jump to see a few of my favorite alternatives (with sample excerpts):

Unfortunately, this is sometimes indistinguishable from clients’ actual copy:

A meatier alternative:
Leberkas pork chop jowl tail capicola bacon. Shoulder rump hamburger drumstick brisket chicken beef kielbasa bacon pork leberkas pastrami flank.
- Lorizzle
Just like Snoop Dogg was your content strategist:
Lorizzle bizzle funky fresh sit amet, you son of a bizzle adipiscing elit. Nizzle check out this velit, doggy volutpizzle, suscipit quis, ghetto, arcu. Pellentesque eget fo shizzle. - Loebowski Ipsum
The Dude abides (with surprisingly specific customization options)!
